What Is “Enough” For You?

Why are we so obsessed with growth in today’s business culture? Jarvis, mentions our companies love to focus on continued growth, but he also presents some troubling data. 74% of businesses fail because they scale too quickly at the behest of arbitrary goals set just for the sake of setting targets.

Businesses exist to promote lifestyles and we maintain them at the benefit of our families. Instead of defining success on arbitrary goals, Jarvis recommends defining at what point our metrics will be “enough.” If the answer is “never” you have some problems.
