Blake Irving, CEO of GoDaddy — Blake Irving was the CEO of GoDaddy from 2012-2018. GoDaddy is the industry’s largest web host. Irving is proud of his work empowering people and their small businesses to get off the ground and confidently grow their own ventures.

Under Blake’s direction, the company has sharpened its focus on helping the world’s 200 million small, independent ventures to grow and thrive online. They also manage over 60 million web domains. He leads a team of nearly 5,000 people and his approach to transparency is truly refreshing.

Previously, Irving was the EVP and Chief Product Officer at Yahoo! He also spent 15 years at Microsoft in various senior roles. In this interview, Irving discusses how important it is to be fearless in your company and also how he screwed up big time in front of Bill Gates!
